Some employers need people. Some job seekers need a way in. Rekrutteringstreff brings them together.
It's a digital tool where Nav advisers and employer contacts plan and run hiring events. Employers with real hiring needs meet job seekers they can actually hire, with extra focus on young people and people without work experience.
As design lead, I drove the early product and service development, from fuzzy problem to tested concepts.

Backdrop
Every day, Nav meets employers who need people and job seekers who want to work. Getting the two to find each other isn't always simple.
Hiring events are one way to do it. Nav invites employers with real hiring needs, and job seekers they can hire. The goal is twofold:
- Help employers find the people they need
- Give job seekers in Nav's target groups better access to work, especially young people and people who haven't had a job yet
Planning and running those events is a job in itself. Rekrutteringstreff is the digital tool for that job.
Challenge
Early product work means a lot of open questions at once. What do advisers and employer contacts actually need? What could go wrong for the people involved? Which problems are worth solving first?
It's tempting to jump straight to screens. My job was to make sure we understood the problem together before we decided on solutions.
What I did
- Led and facilitated processes and workshops with the team
- Developed ideas, concepts and prototypes
- Ran user tests to explore needs, risks and possible solutions
- Built shared problem understanding, direction and learning in the team
A lot of this was quiet groundwork. Getting a team to agree on what the problem is sounds easy. It rarely is, and it pays off later.
Outcome
Rekrutteringstreff launched in spring 2026. Nav now uses it to help more people into work.
Seeing something you helped shape from the very start out in the world, doing its job, is a pretty good feeling.
